Blog #9: Crazy Criminal

I chose the article “Convicted murder claims to be behind 90 unsolved murders spanning nearly 40 years” by Ellen Manning because this story is so crazy it's hard to believe it’s real. A 78-year-old man named Samuel Little will be thought to be the most prolific serial killers in the United States if he is telling the truth, he claims he has killed as many as 90 people in four decades. McDowell was already serving a life sentence in California for three murders when he confessed to a Texas investigator. He has committed murder in 14 different states such as Texas, California, Florida, Kentucky, etc. The murders happened from 1970 to 2005 which is crazy how he got away with a lot of these murders and only got caught for 4 out of the 90 different ones. Now they have confirmed up to 30 different cases that Little was the one who did them. During his trial in 2014 prosecutors said it was likely that Little was responsible for 40 killings since 1980. This is just very crazy that this man who is 78 years old is responsible for 90 different murders around the United States and that now he might be the biggest serial killer ever in the U.S. Stories like this is just something you never want to hear about in the news, it is just never pleasing to hear about a death especially 90 different ones and no one likes to hear about how they died. When people read about people like this is really changes their perspective on people like it could be a regular looking person who you would never expect to do things like this. Many people want Little to get punished for all this stuff he did and especially the families of all the victims. I think Little will go to the top list of worst criminals in this world and they will probably make more stories, books, and movies about this man for a long time. Overall in this article and whole overall story will be history in the future and will be told on multiple different documentaries on criminals and it will forever shock people on the terrible thing Samuel Little did in the United States.

    its very scary to think about but I love watching tv shows to learn about all sorts of things like this because its one of my biggest fear criminal and kidnapping and all sorts of crazy things.

Marshall Rudd   I am Marshall Rudd I ’ m 18 years old  and a freshman in college, but before college I went to The Woodlands High School . I was born in Dallas, Texas and lived there for 2 years then after that I lived in The Woodlands, Texas and never moved anywhere else until college started. Marshall Rudd   The overall message of this video is saying that social media is addicting and is ruining our lives by eliminating our attention span. They are saying that the design of social media makes it addictive. They think this because of features like notification and other little things make people keep going back to their social media page. This overall message might scare some people when they use social media and might not use it anymore and this could affect some companies a lot.  Cal Newport is a professor of computer science at Georgetown University. Newport is concerned for the future generation about how their concentration could be reduced.
