Marshall Rudd   I chose the article “Convicted murder claims to be behind 90 unsolved murders spanning nearly 40 years”   by Ellen Manning because  this story is so crazy  it's  hard to believe  it’s  real. A  78-year-old  man named Samuel Little will be thought to be the most prolific serial killers in the United States if he is telling  the  truth, he claims he has killed as many as 90 people in four decades. McDowell was already serving a life sentence in California for three murders when he confessed to a Texas investigator. He has  committed  murder in 14 different states such as Texas, California, Florida,  Kentucky , etc. The  murders  happened from 1970 to 2005 which is crazy how he got away with a lot of these  murders and only got caught for 4 out of the 90 different ones. The article is about two trainers who attended to a football player who died after contracting a heatstroke and before he died people said that he  was  not cared for correctly when showing symptoms for a heatstroke. Marshall Rudd   Maria was concerned that Mrs. Seth would be  disappointed  in her narrative about her excuses she gave to her grade-school teacher. She thought Mrs. Seth would be not so happy about what she read because it is not ever good to lie. She kept doubting herself until Mrs. Seth  said,   “You  wrote this” and is saying this  disbelieved  and not  disappointed  at all. Maria was so happy about how Mrs. Seth was  so appreciative toward her work she kept telling her that she can succeed here. Marshall Rudd   The overall message of this video is saying that social media is addicting and is ruining our lives by eliminating our attention span. They are saying that the design of social media makes it addictive. They think this because of features like notification and other little things make people keep going back to their social media page. This overall message might scare some people when they use social media and might not use it anymore and this could affect some companies a lot.  Cal Newport is a professor of computer science at Georgetown University. Newport is concerned for the future generation about how their concentration could be reduced. Marshall Rudd The first month of college has been eye opening because of the new type of environment and it is very different than high school. High school wasn’t that hard for me because I had a lot of friends around me and  it  was  hard for me  to split apart from them. My favorite part of college is the schedules of my  classes and how I made it how I wanted, and this is great because I made my earliest classes  every day  at 11 because I am not a morning person. I also love that in most of my classes they let you out early sometimes, but in high school they never let you out early no matter what because everyone had the same times for classes.  I  have met some new people here and they are  great,  but it isn’t the type of friendships I had back home.  Settling  into College  Station was hard for me not having my parents with me or not all my friends here with  me so the first week it was hard to realize...
