Blog #6: The Struggle
Marshall Rudd Maria was concerned that Mrs. Seth would be disappointed in her narrative about her excuses she gave to her grade-school teacher. She thought Mrs. Seth would be not so happy about what she read because it is not ever good to lie. She kept doubting herself until Mrs. Seth said, “You wrote this” and is saying this disbelieved and not disappointed at all. Maria was so happy about how Mrs. Seth was so appreciative toward her work she kept telling her that she can succeed here. Hearing anything that makes someone happy makes Maria feel great because during her childhood struggles she didn’t get much appreciation from anyone and it's always nice to see someone get appreciated when they didn’t get much appreciation through their lifetime.
